The Posture of Humble Dependence

Pastor Mike Tiberi, preaching from James 1:5-11, reminds us to seek God’s wisdom amidst trials and maintain a proper perspective on wealth. Let us recognize our need for God’s wisdom, asking for it in faith, and trusting in God’s generosity. Trials purify and lead to Christ-like character. The poor should boast in their spiritual riches in Christ, while the rich should recognize the fleeting nature of earthly wealth. Let us have a posture of humble dependence on God in all circumstances, finding true and lasting value in living for Christ.
