Visiting a church for the first time can be stressful. We know, we’ve been there, too! Let’s take the guesswork out of your weekend and make sure you know exactly what to expect and where to go. Here’s everything you need to know:
At Trinity, our services last about an hour and a half. We begin by singing together. The words are projected on a screen at the front, and we sing a mix of old and new songs, usually three or four. We have a band with guitars, piano, drums, and other instruments.
Somewhere in there, our worship pastor leads us in a prayer of confession. He prays aloud while the congregation takes the opportunity to pray silently, asking God for forgiveness for our sins.
After a few announcements, the preacher comes forward for the sermon. Usually, our pastor is working his way through a book of the Bible, preaching a series of sermons applying each passage to our lives today.
After the sermon, there is one last song and the service is ended.
We offer childcare for infants up to Kindergarten age during worship service. We also offer Wednesday evening programs for children from 1st-5th grade and for middle school and high school students.
Fill out the form and we’ll meet you at the door, show you around, and save a seat for you.
