Music

Our goal is to make music that helps everybody in the congregation really sing their hearts out to God. Sometimes that means giving fresh life to older hymns. Sometimes we take Scripture passages and put them to music. And sometimes we write our own lyrics and music. Most of our songs are set to contemporary music styles, which may include rock, blues, gospel, country, and a bit of classical for good measure. And at times, we simply let our voices carry the praise with a cappella singing.

You can learn more about our music ministry and listen to samples here. Our worship band also writes music and performs as My Soul Among Lions, a group dedicated to the task of setting the Psalms to music.

We are also served regularly by both adult’s and children’s choirs. If you’re interested in joining one of these choirs, please contact Pastor Philip Moyer.
