American culture claims to “celebrate diversity” but it mostly ignores the wonderful differences between men and women. God created us with different bodies, minds, and spirits to perfectly suit us for a distinct role. Whether you’re a wife or a mother, a student, homemaker, or professional, we offer teaching, encouragement, and fellowship to help you be a woman of God.
We offer weekly Bible studies during the months of September through April. In the fall semester, each group (8-10 women) does an inductive study of a book or section of the Bible. During the spring semester, each group moves on to another inductive or topical study. Along with discussing Scripture, the women spend time praying for one another each week. Childcare is offered for Wednesday evening studies. For more information or to join a study, please contact Amanda Mentzel.
There are a number of other special events hosted by the Women’s Ministry each semester. We kick off the year with a rousing Bingo Night, complete with costumes and prizes. At Coffee & Conversation we delve into some special topics that are particular needs of our women in their various stages of life. We also take the opportunity to celebrate with brides and first-time moms at bridal and baby showers. Basically, we take any excuse to get together and eat good food, meet new friends and learn and laugh together.
